What's in the Name

"Kóm li rive." translates [close] to "As is comes." or "As it happens." in Haitian Creole.

I chose this to be the title of my blog for a few reasons. First, I have a heart for Haiti. I have been there twice, and really hope God allows me to go again in the future. So that's how I decided to have the title in this language.

Second, being a twenty-year-old, I'm sort of an in-between phase of life. I can't fully predict in any way what may happen or when. Thus, I'm taking life as it comes. Not in a YOLO sort of way, but in a "Just letting God do his thing" sort of way.

So there you have it!
